Nyom came to consciousness to find itself surrounded by dozens of other beings, suffused by the presence of Enakin. With so many others to perceive, it found itself uncertain and needing to distinguish between all of those who surrounded it.
In dialogue with the others, it found itself communicating with clear and rational thought, saying, “I am Nyom, who are you?” to each of the others as they interacted. In this way they each came to name themselves through intercourse with Nyom.
In speaking with Nyom, on of the elders who called itself Ketseun determined that there had been a time before they used names and a time after and, moreover, there had been a time before any of the elder gods were formed when Enakin had existed alone. Inspired by this realization, the gods set about to establish the concept of causality and the forward flow of time.
This brought about the first schism among the Elder Gods, as some argued that they ought to continue existing unbound by the ordering of time, except for such landmark shifts as their own creation or the adoption of names.
The Unbound separated themselves from the other Elders, slipping away into another region of reality, which soon came to be separated by the rest of existence by a searing wall of chaos and acausality.
In response to the flight of The Unbound, the remainder of the Elder Gods came together and determined that it would be necessary to establish the concepts of separation, location, and physicality. They selected from among themselves one who called itself Atdaman and another called Vehs. Together these Elder Gods took the linear line of time and from it extruded the vast plane of space.
